Lecture by Konstantin Karamyshev on the Domestic Agricultural Exports

On November 29, the "International Agricultural Markets and Foreign Economic Activities in the Agro-Industrial Complex" academic department presented a lecture by the Deputy General Director of the Damate Group of Companies K.A. Karamyshev for the master’s program "World Agricultural Markets" students.

He outlined the mission of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, its functions and goals, as well as the activities of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) focusing on the impact of the epizootic situation on animal products international trade.
The lecturer shared his views on the domestic agriexports further evolvement, touched upon the Russian pigsty goods supplies to the PRC and related African swine fever hazards.

Konstantin Karamyshev presented the negotiation process while harmonizing the import matters regarding China, the United Arab Emirates, the DPRK and other countries, also giving a number of practical advices facilitating Russian agriexports.

Summing up his message, the speaker answered numerous questions from students.
The master’s program "World Agricultural Markets" has been run by the MGIMO Department "International Agricultural Markets and Foreign Economic Activities in the Agro-Industrial Complex" under the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia since 2019.
